Spectre was GREAT! Go see it.

Won't spoil; will just say this was another high-calibre Bond film that really satiates the Bond fans such as myself.
Some positives for people to consider -

* Title theme sung by Sam Smith

* Daniel Craig in fine form

* Huge continuity threads, not just with Craig's previous films but also with much earlier films in the franchise

* Christoph F***ing Waltz!!

* Ex-WWE wrestler Batista plays a terrific baddie who doesn't even speak

* Excellent car chase sequence in Rome

* Bond still doesn't have much luck on trains

* THREE aerial sequences - two helicopters and one plane, one of which is before the opening scene

* All the MI6 characters get good screentime. Except poor Tanner. Tanner does nothing. Again

Overall an excellent experience. A fine entry in the franchise (number 24!) and the score is far from settled between Bond and the baddies. If you like Bond, watch this film. If you've never seen Bond, it's a great way into the franchise. Runs for 2 and a half hours so set some time aside.

Mightn't be quite as visceral to the Bond character as Skyfall was, but that takes nothing away from the film.

Go see it.
