I know I'm getting in a a bit late, but I felt I oughta say something.
Last week, pop-culture icon and sci-fi legend Leonard Nomoy passed away at 83. I first heard the news on the morning news program at about 7am the day after (time zones are funky) and I was a bit out-of-it 'cause my alarm had only just gone off. Needless to say, not the happiest of news to begin the day, but at the same time, I was glad he left such a profound legacy.
Those who know me know I'm a big Trek fan; have been since I was 10. However, thanks to my nation's weird broadcastting schedule I've never seen the original show broadcast here. My first ep I watched way back when was a Next Gen called "Brothers". So I had to get the classic series on DVD. But through those episodes, the extras on each disc, and various written works since that time, I learned how much impact Spock had on the franchise as well as how conflicted Mr. Nimoy was about being known for that role.
But he embraced it, I learned later. He returned to the franchise in the 2009 film. He referenced his best lines in the 3rd Transformers movie (NOT as bad as the 2nd) and, if memory serves me right, he even parodied his age in a Bruno Mars video clip. No matter if it was in the 1960's, the 21st century or anytime in between, he was immensely enjoyable to watch.
Leaonard's legacy will live on (and prosper) for a long time to come. Zach Quinto keeps the character alive, but there's nothing like the original. Would've loved to meet him in person but I'm glad he had a long, fulfilling, influential life. Thanks for inspiring so many people in so many ways.
Vale Leonard Nimoy.

A happy new year to you all!!
I return to DA briefly with a simple request -
Please follow my darling wife ~BlossomPPG (https://www.deviantart.com/blossomppg) on her brand new twitter where you can keep up to date with all her new postings. She's hoping to get a few more people interested in the art she has to offer, and with CERTAIN websites cutting away their Adult Content recently, it's their loss and her gain. Leily specialises in cartoon work with a NSFW edge and she might just be the artist YOU are looking for!
YOU CAN CHECK OUT HER TWITTER HERE!
You can also find her Patreon here if you fancy!
Please support Leily! Our anniversary is coming up and we had a remarkab
Not as active these days...
So yeah, 2017 has so far been quiet for me on here. It'll most likely stay that way. I'll be finishing off the epilogue of Antithesis and I don't know where to go from there - there's been no interest in my written work at all so I guess I might just end it and not continue. Haven't decided yet. I'm sure some people DO read it but nobody leaves their thoughts and comments afterward so it's rather disheartening.
Oh, and I'm getting married later in the year!! <33
So I suppose I'll be even LESS frequent after that.
But meantime I'm always looking to help out my incredible wifey ~BlossomPPG (https://www.deviantart.com/blossomppg) - her commissions are still open! Check out

So give her a try if you like! You'll be supporting an amazing young woman and helping her prepar
