Gifted Wild

Sabrina Lynn Thompson - a sometimes bratty, manytimes precocious and mosttimes adorable youngster who is popular amongst schoolfriends but not so much with teachers.

Blessed with a wandering, rambunctious mind, Sabrina - or Brina as she prefers - is very easily distracted and lost in daydream. Often as reality escapes her, situations became a bit strange. For whatever reason, the things about which she envisioned seemed to take shape before her. Confused, she tried to hide this from her peers.

But her power was discovered - she was a member of the gifted Wild. The Wild are all uncontrolled espers and deviants whose powers remain undocumented and thus unmonitored by those whose top priority is regulation and control of these potential loose cannons. However, Blood - the enigmatic leader of a revolutionary society simply called 'Helix' found the youngster first.


Brina's capability to turn her thoughts into useful application is limited only by her confidence in such thoughts. She still maintains her precocious attitude, often resulting in mischief. Biohazard, known for her special ideas of 'fun', has taken quite a liking to her. Brina later joins New Trinity - a trio of selected students under Blood's guidance who will one day rise into positions of leadership.

As with the last pic, I'm taking full creative control over this girl. Personally I'm tired of doing all the thinking, plotting, designing and promoting without the proper claim to the character.

So now, I am taking that claim.

No doubt some people will argue but fear not - I'm by no means stealing from anybody. Anyone who wishes to have their own, simpler, less interesting versions can keep those versions. Brina here, however, is mine. And I will make sure she will be the best she can be. So slander me in other languages, make art that hints that someone else can do it better, or perhaps just rant and rave behind my back like loonies. Doesn't bother me. In fact it makes me laugh.

And ya know the funny thing about Brina is that I based her powers on a few people I know. No, I don't know people who can create projections of fire, wind, ropes, hammers, snowflakes, Slim Jims and other things with their mind. I'm talking about people who have a hard time distinguishing fiction from reality.

People who forsake real things for things that aren't real without realising they might be hurting someone. Brina's power is an effective parody of that. Fitting.
